Manufactured in Germany, the Rothballer Foot Scanner is a tool we utilize at all of our store locations. Like the Brannock device, it provides foot measurement information, only much more thorough and enhanced. Our Certified Pedorthists and Fitting Specialists use the Brannock device and a foot scan in the process of matching up product to foot shape, size, and specific needs. Foot Scan Facts
Expect to have both feet scanned simultaneously in a static, weight bearing position. In other words, we will ask you to stand barefoot on the scanner. A printout then provides a photograph-like reproduction that reveals the following:

• Foot size in millimeters
  
• Foot shape
  
• Arch definition (high, medium, low)
  
• Weight bearing surfaces
• Pressure points and hot spots
  
• Irregularities
• Deformities
• Calluses and/or ulcerations
